Course Description
In this interactive course, educators learn the Mariposa Method, a social-emotional learning approach that reduces stress and builds resilience for both children and adults. Through a blend of self-paced lessons and live Zoom sessions, participants explore the science behind behavior, practice empathetic communication strategies, and gain tools to create calmer, more connected classrooms.
You’ll rethink traditional discipline, learn to decode behavior through a trauma- and stress-informed lens, and discover practical techniques for building trust, supporting self-regulation, and fostering equity. By the final session, you’ll walk away with a clear plan for applying these strategies in your daily work.
