Mariposa Education is a non-profit based in Baltimore, MD dedicated to social-emotional learning (SEL) training for teachers and parents based on our proprietary Mariposa Method, which we believe to be the most effective SEL training available today. Mariposa Education provides virtual and in-person courses for individuals and organizations, as well as 1:1 consulting and coaching.

Yes, most of our courses provide either Maryland State Department of Education Core of Knowledge clock hours or MSDE CPD credits. As a partner of Loyola University of Maryland, our course certificates may also be accepted in other states, and we encourage you to check with your local district to determine if the credit hours will meet your local department of education requirements for training.

Mariposa is a non-profit organization founded by Dr. Anne Townsend, in which our proprietary method is brought to educators, parents, administrators and counselors through graduate classes, coaching, consultation and courses for parents and teachers. Most of our courses are approved for credits through the Maryland Department of Education, and we are partners of Loyola University of Maryland (which is also accredited by MSDE.)
